This just sorta came into being because Spidey woke up one day and had a change of heart (sick o the ol routine).

I don't know how many times I jumped between Photoshop and Painter on this one...

that is just plain awesome, i love the black web
and the little silver sufer in the back ground ;D
i love the way you have coloured this is like a painting

and the hands and feet are wonderfull,
since i find human hands and feet very hard to do

Thanks for commenting on the web! Most people nowadays draw a McFarlane influenced gooey white / gray web, but I kinda wanted to try a more traditional black web. I ended up sprucing it up a bit in Photoshop with airbrushing and the liquify function, though...
Oh and btw, it's an Iceman in the background! hehe I guess I shoulda drawn him better.
The background colors are done in Painter, which make it quite easy to do traditional-painting-style colors. Give it a try if you get a chance!

Yeah I was just not really wanting to draw another split-legged spidey showing off his crotch, so I thought of a way to avoid that.

It makes more sense with the black costume, since the symbiote can do all sorts of things, and the stuff he's standing on doesn't look like webbing.
