Prowl and Shafts of Light 2017

I've been drawing a lot of Transformers lately. Here's one "tech demo" that I was inspired to do. If you go on youtube, you'll see a lot of videos on how to do those digital landscapes (the ones with the little person in the foreground to show scale). I was watching one tutorial and I thought it was really cool how he used light and shadow to create hyper-realism by only drawing in detail on the areas where the light hit the "castle" or "mountain". I felt that this technique would work with anything, so I tried it on Prowl.
